Will wearing this belt keep you scrappy? Maybe! Anyway, it will definitely keep your pants up – which is a good thing.
Also … you’ll feel great knowing that the pewter slide buckle – hand-crafted by artisans in New England – is partly made from scrap metal that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. The stitching (attaching the webbing to the buckle) is done by sewers in a 19th century mill in New England.
Strap made from polyester webbing that’s soft but also industrial-grade – and made in the Carolinas. The webbing is hand dyed and sun-dried so has some natural variations in shading.
Single length - cut to fit. Proudly made in the USA.
Love this super sturdy and hip-looking belt! Wore it all over Iceland while backpacking over glaciers and lava-fields. Belt and buckle have a heft to them and fit nicely with jeans or more technical climbing or mountaineering stretch pants. The belt buckle is 100% adjustable to whatever tightness you want and doesn't slip -- good for when I needed a close cinch while climbing or carrying weight. Definitely would buy again. It's a functional utility belt but with style. Great as a holiday gift.
